Mandarin Oriental Bodrum to Open in Turkey in 2014

Mandarin Oriental Bodrum

From The Peninsula Paris to The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto, there are a slew of exciting luxury hotels slated for 2014. (Check out our 2014 luxury hotel preview.) One of the most hotly anticipated debuts is the Mandarin Oriental Bodrum, which will be joining Amanresorts in the paradise that is the Turkish Riviera. Built into the hillside on a 50-acre site at “Cennet Koyu” (Paradise Bay), the “cascading” resort will have 102 guest rooms with terraces overlooking the turquoise Aegean Sea and the surrounding olive groves and pine forest. Some of the rooms will also come with private infinity pools and gardens.

A resort highlight will be the spa, encompassing 2,700 square feet and 10 treatment rooms. The six restaurants and bars will take advantage of the resort’s privileged setting with waterside dining. Adjacent to the resort, The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum will feature the same sleek, contemporary design and luxury amenities. Recreational activities will run the gamut from yachting to water skiing. Stay tuned for the exact opening date. The Mandarin Oriental Bodrum will be joined by the group's Istanbul property in 2016. For more information, visit www.mandarinoriental.com
