Serenity Now at Amanyara

February 4, 2009 By: Dave Eisen Luxury Travel Advisor

We hear that Amanyara

in Turks and Caicos just “up-luxed” with the addition of a Serenity Villa where guests can succumb to a litany of pampering spa treatments.

Things to love: The Serenity Villa, which is wrapped around its
own swimming pool, has four separate treatment pavilions. These are not
your standard spa quarters: Each has a private changing area with
double vanities, a soaking tub and a rain shower. Two of the pavilions
have sunken outdoor terrazzo bathtubs and showers enclosed in a small
garden. Even better, all can accommodate couples. Note: Amanyara still
offers relaxation and wellness services in the privacy of guests’
accommodations.Guests can choose from a menu of massages,
including a penetrating Deep Tissue Massage or the gentler Shiatsu
therapy. Body treatments incorporate Amanresorts’ custom-blended
products made from natural and indigenous ingredients, such as a Kaffir
Lime Body Scrub. The serenity continues in a spacious studio where
spa-goers can indulge in yoga and Pilates sessions.

General information about the resort, including how to book the
over-the-top and brand-new Five-Bedroom Ocean Villa, which not only has
its own private pool, but also a spacious deck area, library and a fire
pit, should be directed at Ana Fonseca (afonseca@amanresorts.com),
global sales manager for Amanyara.
