Artesian continues to reign supreme as one of the hottest bars-- not just in London-- but the world. Recently the cocktail lounge won "the world’s best bar" at The World’s 50 Best Bars Awards 2012 by Drinks International. Held in London, the event brings together some 400 bar industry professionals from around the world.
Helmed by Head Mixologist Alex Kratena, Artesian is named for the 365 foot well under The Langham London which originally supplied all fresh water for hotel guests. The bar was designed by the famed David Collins Studio, and is known for pushing the boundaries of mixology with original and creative concoctions (like Tarantula and Scorpion Cocktails for Halloween).
