Fasano Moves Into Miami to Run Shore Club

While there’s much anticipation in Miami for the opening of Faena- one of the hottest hotel projects of the year- there’s another buzzworthy brand from South America that’s ready to make waves in Florida. In big news out of Miami Beach, the owners of the Shore Club have announced that Fasano, the Brazilian hotel brand, will run the property that’s currently under a major redevelopment. As reported by The Wall Street Journal, Fasano will operate the new 100-room luxury hotel and the 75 condos.

This is the first hotel project for Fasano outside of South America, and proof of the importance of the Latin American market for Miami hospitality. Curbed recently published new renderings of the Shore Club, styled by Brazilian designer Isay Weinfeld, noting that the Fasano Hotel and Residences at Shore Club will potentially be the “only second five-star hotel in South Beach besides the Setai.” The hotel opening is slated for 2017.
