2014 Luxury Travel Exchange International Announces Dates and Location

Questex Hospitality + Travel has announced that its 2014 Luxury Travel Exchange International (LTX) will be held Dec. 10-12 at The Palazzo in Las Vegas, bringing fully vetted, top-producing advisors of luxury and premium niche travel together with leading suppliers for three full days of one-to-one meetings, interactive networking and educational programming.

The successful 2013 program hosted more than 5,000 one-to-one meetings among 900 professional travel advisors and 300 luxury travel suppliers.

“This year we are focusing on millennial travel advisors, who are the future of the industry,” said Marilyn McHugh, Questex Hospitality + Travel vice president, global events. “Building on 2013’s success, our goal is to create enhanced opportunities for advisors and suppliers to conduct business through substantial learning and earning opportunities.”

In addition to the event’s commitment to the next generation of travel professionals, McHugh said the event will have a truly global presence with increased supplier representation from Asia, South America and Africa.

The 2014 LTX will be a hybrid event featuring a social area that combines a traditional trade show and intimate meetings. The 2014 format will include eight-minute, mutually requested one-to-one appointments that allow participants time to conduct business and discover how they can best fit each other’s needs. Additionally, open trade show floor hours will provide meeting opportunities for advisors and suppliers who were not scheduled to meet one another.

Global luxury and premium suppliers in attendance will include hotels, resorts, airlines, cruise lines, ground transportation operators, professional servicers, tour operators, passenger railroads, travel insurers, vacation/villa rental firms and attraction and entertainment companies.

Suppliers will be offered a dedicated exhibitor track and educational opportunities. They may participate at a premium level featuring one-to-one appointments and 30-minute fast-track sessions; a one-to-one exhibitor level offering a dedicated set of one-to-one appointments; and a standard level, which will provide a trade-show booth in the social area.

“We are excited to be back in Las Vegas and look forward to another exceptional program,” McHugh said.
