In response to the heightened interest in international travel, Abercrombie & Kent has announced that it added 50 new guaranteed departure dates in late summer and fall on 23 different luxury small group and family escorted journeys. Destinations included are Myanmar, Italy and the Galápagos Islands, places where availability is otherwise limited.
Each A&K Luxury Small Group Journey includes the best rooms at the hotels at every stop, from a royal residence to an authentic, eco-friendly wilderness camp. The small group size – with just 12 to 18 guests on land-based programs and 24 on family journeys and cruises – makes it possible to feature upscale lodgings and sites that are closed to larger groups. Each departure is guaranteed to operate with a local A&K tour director from start to finish with a minimum of two guests.
A&K is a US-based company with a network of 50 on-site offices around the world, providing support 24/7. It has added new amenities in 2013 to further enhance the luxury experience, including Travelling Bell Boy service that allows guests to leave their packed bags in their room when they depart in the morning and find them waiting in their room at the next hotel that evening, and complimentary Internet service in most destinations.
