Abu Dhabi to Kick Off Inaugural Food Fest in November

Heads up, Middle East-bound foodies! The first-ever Taste of Abu Dhabi festival is set to launch in November at the du Arena on Yas Island. (We hear celebrity chefs Jun Tanaka and Eric Lanlard are slated to be there on opening day.)

According to Hotelier Middle East, the event will feature the fare from 15 signature restaurants, international celebrity chefs, and more than 50 exhibitors for three days.

Participating restaurants already signed up for the festival include Angar, Avasa, Café d’Alsace, Carluccio’s, Catch, McGettigan’s, Noodle Box, Turqoiz, Ushna, Villa Toscana and Blue Grill.

A live music stage co-sponsored by Land Rover and McGettigans will also be featured (what's dinner without entertainment?) as well as a chefs’ theatre, themed bars, a cookery school and a VIP lounge.

Taste of Abu Dhabi will take place at du Arena from Thursday, November 6 to Saturday, November 8. The festival will run from 4–11pm on Thursday, 12–11pm on Friday and 12–10pm on Saturday. Tickets are on sale now at www.tasteabudhabi.com
