Now Open in Abu Dhabi: Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat

Just off the coast of Abu Dhabi, Saadiyat Island is being developed as a leisure destination and tourism hub with a slew of resorts, top-notch museums (ie. the Guggenheim and the Louvre) and cultural centers designed to “showcase Abu Dhabi to the world.” The latest to open is the Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat, the first Monte-Carlo SBM property outside of Monaco. Nestled on the pristine white sand overlooking the azure waters of the Gulf, the exclusive members-only club promises to bring a slice of the Riviera to the UAE. (Note: It’s possible for non-members to access the pool and beach area for a daily or weekend entrance charge.) The beach club has a swimming pool with private cabanas, a luxury spa, a gym with fitness classes, and four restaurants and lounges. During the day, the club is family friendly, but by night, it transforms into a happening spot for sunset cocktails at Bubbles Bar (pictured), followed by partying with the Abu Dhabi glitterati at the Sea Lounge.

Buzz: Members are also entitled to access to the original 1920’s Monte Carlo Beach Club in Monaco.
