Air France to Offer Daily Flights Between Miami, Paris

Good news for those traveling from Florida to Paris: Throughout the 2014-2015 winter season (October 26-March 28, 2015), Air France will operate up to seven weekly flights to Miami departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle. Even better, starting from December 1 through to the end of the season in spring, all flights will be operated by Airbus A380.

The A380 has 516 seats in four cabin classes: Nine seats in La Première, 80 seats in Business, 38 seats in Premium Economy and 389 seats in Economy. Cool perks: Changing ambient lighting helps to cross time zones without feeling tired and, six bars divided between the cabins let passengers meet up during the flight. Even cooler: The plane is the first to have a special area dedicated to arts and culture, with pieces curated from global museums.

Before flying to Miami, travelers can learn about the city through the “Travel By Air France” program that recommends unique destinations, hidden gems and upcoming events. The guide also helps guests draw up their own itinerary depending on length of stay, interest and even weather conditions. Travel By Air France also uses interviews with numerous local and international personalities to illustrate each city. For example, in Miami, musician Lenny Kravitz talks about his favorite places, and explains why he loves the city so much.

Accessible from the airfrance.fr website, Travel By Air France cam be accessed in the “prepare your trip” section and is available in French, English and Chinese. It highlights more than 60 destinations served by Air France worldwide.
