The Alpina Gstaad in Switzerland recently named esteemed Swiss artist Pierre Keller as the hotel’s newest art advisor. The hotel’s collection features the works of over 35 contemporary artists like Dan Colen, Tracey Emin, Jana Euler, Alex Israel, Terrence Koh, and The Bruce High Quality Foundation.
Mr. Keller has worked as an artist and mentor for several years. He is an expert in graphic and plastic arts, and has worked as a publisher, teacher, and curator. He has participated in a variety of well-known international art events, such as the International Poster Biennal in Warsaw, the 9th Biennale des jeunes in Paris, and the 17th International Biennal in São Paolo. Under his leadership, he transformed the Ecole cantonale d`art de Lausanne (ECAL) into one of the most prestigious art schools in Europe. Keller has also served as the president of the Vaudois Wine Office since 2011 and on the Board of the Montreux Jazz Festival.
