Aman Sveti Stefan Opens New Spa

On the Montenegro coast, the Aman Sveti Stefan has unveiled its new Aman Spa.

Aman Sveti Stefan is comprised of the once fortified village of Sveti Stefan, a tiny islet attached to the coastline by a narrow isthmus, and Villa Miločer across the bay on the mainland, which was originally the summer residence of Queen Marija Karadjordjevic. Together, these two historic properties have 50 unique rooms, cottages and suites on the island and eight suites at Villa Miločer. The Aman Spa is located on the mainland and is in addition to the six spa cottages, gymnasium and two swimming pools on the Sveti Stefan island.

So what makes the spa special? Set back from Queen's Beach and surrounded on three sides by natural forest, the Aman Spa consists of four 700-square-foot treatment suites, four private relaxation terraces and three hydrotherapy rooms--each with a sauna, steam shower, hot bath and cold plunge pool. The indoor heated swimming pool, housed almost completely in glass, is 80 feet long and extends outdoors for an additional 25 feet, where it is surrounded by two 540-square-foot terraces with sun loungers. There is also a 600-square-foot Finishing Salon offering manicures and pedicures along with hair treatments, cuts and styling.

Good to know: The Aman Spa's menu includes signature packages using unique chemical-free products.

The Spa's Fitness Center includes a 1500-square-foot gym, a 750-square-foot Pilates studio and a 540-square-foot yoga studio with heated floors. Nice touch: Guests have access to complimentary daily yoga classes and have the option to book individual or group classes with experienced Pilates and yoga instructors as well as personal training sessions.
