Anantara has just debuted the latest chapter in its book of luxury resorts. Anantara Phuket Layan Resort & Spa is a new hideaway in Phuket, Thailand.
The resort has nine different room types across 77 suites and villas on a stretch of beach, including a two-bedroom family pool villa, two two-bedroom pool villas and an expansive 5,200-square-foot Anantara Pool Villa. With direct beach access, a private pool and outdoor areas, the pool villa can accommodate up to six adults.
Each from has an iPod docking station and Apple TV. A custom-stocked wine cabinet and in-room bar, a Nespresso machine and wi-fi are also included. The 47 villas each have a private pool, as well as a personal Villa Host who is on call 24 hours per day.
Sala Layan, the all-day dining restaurant, serves up a breakfast buffet with live cooking stations. At the Deeplee signature restaurant, authentic Thai cuisine from around the country is prepared. Visit the Infinity Bar for views and cocktails, as well as Thai tapas. The Breeze pool bar also serves creative cocktails, fresh juices and light poolside snacks.
If guests want to try their hand at whipping up tasty treats, visit Spice Spoons, Anantara's new cooking school concept. Participants start the day with a visit to a local market to learn about and buy fresh ingredients before donning aprons and chefs hats in the open kitchen.
