If your clients are looking to jet somewhere warm this winter, we hear the St. Pete and Clearwater area in Florida are playing host to a few new exhibits and events that might pique the interest of art- and culture-lovers.

St. Pete/Clearwater has a total of 31 museums, most notably the Dali Museum, which boasts the most comprehensive collection of the famous surrealist's work in America.

The Dali Museum -- From November 8, 2014 to February 15, 2015, the museum will host a new exhibition through a partnership with the Museu Picasso Barcelona. Titled "Picasso / Dalí, Dalí / Picasso," the exhibit will feature rarely loaned works from more than 25 international art museums and private collections worldwide.

The Blue Ocean Film Festival & Conservation Summit -- The event returns to the U.S. this year November 3-9, bringing together ocean leaders, filmmakers, photographers, scientists, explorers, entertainment executives, and the general public to honor the best in ocean filmmaking and inspire ocean advocacy and environmental stewardship. The festival will kick off with a special screening of “James Cameron’s DeepSea Challenge 3D” and also feature a presentation by Fabien Cousteau, grandson of Jacques-Yves Cousteau; a special screening of Dr. Sylvia A Earle’s “Mission Blue;” and more.

The Museum of the American Arts and Crafts Movement -- This new museum will debut in 2016 in Downtown St. Pete in a 90,000-square foot, four-story facility developed by art collector Rudy Ciccarello. The museum will include galleries, a lecture hall, a children's education center, a cafe, restaurant, store, studios, and a reference library that will have an important and comprehensive collection of books and catalogs on the American Arts and Crafts Movement.
