Food lovers are not going to want to miss ITC Hotel’s newest Food Sherpa Trails, which will take foodies on exciting culinary journeys through multiple cities in India, led by some of the top ITC chefs in the country. Rooted in Indian culture, the program features a series of unique experiences that will allow guests to sample traditional cuisine in a variety of culinary hot spots, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Jodhpur, Agra and more.
Known for its impressive culinary concepts like Bukhara and Dum Pkht, ITC is introducing the Food Sherpa Trails as another part of the chains efforts to provide travelers with the most indigenous experiences that define their destination. Each tour, priced at $58 per couple includes meals and transportation.
In New Delhi, guests are invited on The Old Delhi Trail, the Connaught Place Trail and the Street Food Trail. On The Old Delhi Trail, guests will sample the age-old flavors of one of New Delhi’s oldest markets, Chandni Chowk. Guests will make their way down the narrow pathway of Paranthe Wali Gali before stopping at spots like Hira Lal Chaat Corner and Jalebi Wala.
The Connaught Place trail will take visitors into the heart of Delhi, an area home to more than 200 eateries. Stops of the tour include Shake Square, Kawlity and Kake Da Hotel.
If you’re looking to visit South Delhi, the Street Food Trail shows guests culinary gems that are tucked throughout the busy shops and markets in South Delhi. Stops on the tour include the Bengali Sweet Centre and Haldiram’s among many others.
