Ever wanted to ski in the sky? Well, you still can’t do that but you can get pretty close, thanks to Fairmont Hotels & Resorts' new Aprés in the Air package. Produced in partnership with Air Canada, the two companies want you to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday in style, on a private chartered jet with 58 of your closest friends, before experiencing all of Canada’s staple winter attractions on land at the Fairmont’s three iconic Canadian properties.

The Aprés in the Air package includes a round trip for 58 people by private charter jet with Air Canada’s all Business Class private charter service Jetz, plus stays at the Fairmont Château Laurier, Fairmont Le Château Montebello and Fairmont Tremblant. The adventure begins before your touchdown in Canada though, when your private jet is transformed into a Fairmont-style ski chalet, bringing the ultimate après ski experience with you into the sky.

At each of the Fairmont destinations, guests will enjoy a variety of memory-making winter activities, including dog sledding, ice skating, snowmobiling, ice fishing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, skiing and curling. At Fairmont Le Château Montebello guests will be able to enjoy luxury pool and spa treatments in what’s been deemed the world’s largest log cabin, while at Fairmont Tremblant guests will explore the nearby scenic village located at the base of a mountain, and those at Fairmont Château Laurier will transport guests to a French chateau within the nation’s capital.

To highlight Fairmont’s traditional Canadian heritage, inspired cuisine from notable Canadian chefs Louis Simar, Tim Wasylko and Eric Beaupré will be featured at each respective stop on the journey.

The Aprés in the Air package will be available through December 31, 2017, with packages beginning at $300,000.

Good to know: If you’re not looking to go so large, the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts still want you to celebrate Canada’s birthday with the Travel North Package. Also available through December 31, 2017, the package offers 15 percent off of the daily rate and 1,500 Aeroplan miles per stay.
