Ana’s travel writing has appeared in The Boston Globe; Conde Nast UK; Hemispheres, Home and Away; Travel Weekly; Cruise Critic and Porthole Cruise magazine, among other publications. She wrote a long-running travel column for AARP’s bilingual publication, AARP Viva; and co-authored the Moon Metro Las Vegas guidebook for Avalon Travel Publishing

Prior to focusing on travel and tourism, Ana was a staff reporter for Newsweek magazine's Los Angeles Bureau. She also contributed regularly to People magazine and The New York Daily News

Ana holds a law degree from Stanford University and was a practicing attorney before entering the journalism field.
