Geraldine Campbell

I didn’t always know I wanted to be a writer.

I tried my hand at mergers & acquisitions, consulted at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, and taught high school math in New York City before landing my first writing gig at the Vault.

Since then, I’ve worked as an assistant editor at Conde Nast Traveler (writing some, editing some, doing a lot of expenses) and as an editor at (editing, editing and more editing). I’ve eked out a living as a freelance writer, covering food and travel primarily, but also fashion, beauty, love, sex, and health. I’ve written for New York Magazine, Bon Appetit, Marie Claire, and Bloomberg BusinessWeek – to name a few – and I’ve lived in San Francisco, Madrid, Memphis, New Orleans, Shreveport, Las Vegas, and New York. I’m now the editor of Giada de Laurentiis’ digital magazine, 

I currently live in Brooklyn. When I’m not writing, I’m making galettes in my kitchen, walking everywhere and anywhere (often with my dog, Charlie), or plotting my next adventure.
