Classic Travel Service, based in New York, has welcomed Barbara Gallay to its team as the first vice president of online hotel partnerships. In her new position she will oversee, negotiate and coordinate agency/hotel agreements and relationships for its online platform.
Previously Gallay was the owner and president of Linden Travel which, under her stewardship, grew yearly sales to over $120 million. In 2009 she sold LInden to Houston-based Frosch Travel and remained as president of the New York office for the next three years. Additionally, Gallay has served on the travel agency advisory boards of many major hotel companies, and in 2007, was included in Crain's list of the 100 most influential women in New York City business.
