Beverly Hills Debuts New Visitor Center

beverly hillsBeverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau and the city of Beverly Hills have announced the opening of a new visitor center located at 9400 South Santa Monica Boulevard, in the heart of Beverly Hills, also known as the Golden Triangle. The 500 square foot welcome center is to serve as the gateway into the city by offering insider tips and information through touch screen displays and iPads, and brochures and an on-site concierge. The center will also include photo displays and videos featuring the city’s iconic heritage and a retail space.

The center is to be a first stop upon arrival to the city, offering a photo opportunity in front of the iconic Beverly Hills Shield. Collaterals including maps, shopping guides and itineraries, are translated into several languages. Other highlights include: interactive displays utilizing touch screens and mounted iPads; interactive content; exclusive offers only available in the visitor center and downloadable to any smart phone; tickets and admission passes to local Southern California attractions; and branded Beverly Hills merchandise.

Beginning mid-2013, The Beverly Hills visitor center will also feature limited-edition merchandise currently in development for the city’s centennial celebration.

The Visitor Center opens October 4, 2012 with its regular hours of operation, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; and Saturday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
