The Broadmoor Adds Two Ziplines

the broadmoorThe Broadmoor in Colorado Springs has opened two new zipline courses that allow guests to explore Seven Falls from a 1,800-foot glide over Seven Falls Canyon.

The Broadmoor Soaring Adventure consists of 10 zip-lines that range in distance from 300 feet to 1,800 feet as well as moderate hiking, rope bridges, and a rappel that provide stunning views of the canyon. The Broadmoor partnered with Bonsai Designs to develop the course. Accompanied by two guides at all times, participants have the option to choose the full tour, approximately a four-hour excursion, or experience one of two distinct courses.

The Woods Course cruises over pines, creeks, valleys, a natural granite arch, Midnight Falls, and the trails leading to the falls. The Finns Course opens mid-September and soars above steep drops, unique rock formations and jagged cliffs, and across Seven Falls Canyon. Each course includes five zip-lines that get progressively longer, giving guests time to ease into the experience. The Finns Course also features several custom-built suspension bridges and a rappel to the canyon floor at the end.

Reservations for The Broadmoor Soaring Adventure must be made in advance; fees are $235 plus tax and gratuity for the four-hour adventure. To enjoy each course separately, the cost is $135 plus tax and gratuity for the Woods Course and $149 plus tax and gratuity for the Finns Course. Soaring fees include the park entry fees for Seven Falls. Weight restrictions for all soaring courses are between 90 and 250 pounds; in addition, children ages eight to 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
