First Class Upgrades on Etihad Airways

Ethihad Airways

Guests flying first class on Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, will have various new amenities, mimicking those found in a fine hotel. As passengers board first class they will be met with a welcome note from the cabin service manager and a silver tray full of Arabic dates, a hot towel and a welcome drink.

The complementary dining menu in first class cabin will be updated to feature a wider selection of canapés, and a pre-dessert course will include pastries and a glass of XO Cognac. New chinaware from Japan’s fine bone china producer, Nikko, will be used alongside Royal Oak cutlery by the British brand, Studio William.

Beginning with the Airbus A380 and the Boeing 787-9, new throws, cushions and interiors will be added to the first class cabin alongside turndown service. Turndown service will also occur in business class during long flights.
