Listen up, fashionistas. L’Eclaireur, the talked-about Paris concept store, will debut its first U.S. location in Los Angeles on September 9. When Armand and Martine Hadida first opened the store on the Champs-Elysées in 1980, L’Eclaireur pioneered the “concept store”—showcasing a carefully curated and artful mix of design, fashion, art, and furniture in a gallery-type space. Today there are five locations in Paris, including the rue Hérold store, which sometimes hosts culinary classes in partnership with the Alain Ducasse Cooking School.

As reported by WWD, L’Eclaireur will be located in a 1960s building at 450 North Robertson Blvd, in the same block as H. Lorenzo and Bel Bambini, and a block away from Alexandra von Furstenberg’s new flagship. The store will feature rare and unique furniture and design pieces. When interviewed by WWD, Armand Hadida explained, “Los Angeles is a new moment for us to challenge ourselves and this city by introducing our perspective on design, not available in L.A. or the United States today — a truly global one, and of the highest quality.”
