We say May is a good time to head out to SoCal. Why? The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company will debut its Rancho Mirage, specifically on May 15.
Less than two hours from LA and San Diego, the luxury resort is surrounded by the Santa Rosa Mountain range on a 650-foot bluff overlooking Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley.
The resort will have 244 rooms and suites, residences, a two-story spa, more than 30,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor meeting space and destination dining.
Indoor/outdoor is the theme at the resort, with an emphasis on natural hues and the desert environment. Dining venues will include a visually dynamic exhibition kitchen at State Fare Bar Kitchen and a restaurant specializing in steak, seafood and wine, The Edge.
Amenities will include cliff-side swimming and serenity pools and a destination spa.
