The Beverly Hills Hotel’s New Bungalows

The Beverly Hills Hotel has finally opened its two new Presidential Bungalows, and they seem poised to set the standard in the Hills. The bungalows are tucked away in 12 landscaped acres of banana leaves, palm trees and gardens. The hotel calls them “the largest, most prestigious suites in Los Angeles with nearly 5,000 square feet of living space indoors and out.”

The Exterior Fireplace keeps guests warm.

The Bungalows resemble individual Beverly Hills-esque homes, with indoor living areas opening to the outdoors (don’t worry, privacy is assured). Each Bungalow has its own private entrance; a Great Room with dining room and a living room; a professional kitchen; custom-designed furnishings and pieces from the 1920s to modern day; three bedrooms with baths featuring free-standing tubs, steam showers and vanities; and, in timeless Hollywood tradition, a limestone fireplace—five per Bungalow—in every room. (Yes, that means five fireplaces.) For families that would rather stay in for dinner—or for those hosting events—the professional chef’s kitchen has a Sub-Zero refrigerator, wine cooler, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, stove, microwave, undermount sink with stainless steel apron, stone countertops, glassware display shelving and mirror backsplash, as well as a butler’s pantry and private entrance for staff.

Best of All: The bungalows have the only private outdoor showers in Los Angeles. The gardens that surround each Bungalow include a private pool, fireplace, dining area with nighttime illumination, entertainment systems, exercise areas and courtyards.
