Following the completion of a three-month renovation, The Canyon Suites at The Phoenician, a Marriott Luxury Collection Resort in Scottsdale, AZ has reopened. The suites have been updated to have a more residential feel.
The refurbishments, designed by Wimberly Interiors, saw each of the 62 guest rooms receive contemporary furnishing, wood-grained entryways, interior carpeting, upholstered headboards, quartz stone countertops and vanities, and locally sourced artwork. Outdoor patios and terraces of each room received new tiling and furniture, including round daybeds.
In addition to the rooms, the hotel’s lobby was renovated to now include The Canyon Lounge, which has complimentary breakfast, premium boutique wines, and cocktails. Outside, the private infinity Canyon Pool was given a new Pebble Tec finish, while the cabanas received new furniture and artwork.
Among the updated services, included is a hiking gear-lending program, which comes with a backpack, trekking poles, snacks, and first aid kit, which can be used on the nearby Cholla Trail at Camelback Mountain.
The Phoenician comprises 250 acres at the base of Camelback Mountain and two hotels – the 585-room resort hotel and the 62-room boutique hotel, The Canyon Suites – both of which are certified AAA Five Diamond.
