Capella to Open Two Hotels Along Black Sea Coast

The Black Sea is one of the top emerging destinations in Europe (there's a reason why Sochi attracted the attention of the International Olympic Committee). Hotels are taking note, too: In 2017, Capella Hotels and Resorts will open Capella and Solis branded properties as part of the new Anapa destination resort on the Black Sea coast in the Krasnodar Region of Russia.

Beyond the two hotels (the Capella will be smaller and include villas; the Solis will be a much larger hotel), we hear that the development will have the region’s only luxury casino (with a private hall for VIPs) and several entertainment and dining venues. The main restaurant will have an open-air grill terrace for al fresco dining in summer, and there will be a cafe and bar right by the beach. (We're also intrigued by the Signature Panoramic Rooftop Restaurant--we bet it will have some of the best views around!)

The Auriga Spa Centre will have an indoor swimming pool (good for winter), steam rooms, Turkish baths and saunas, 11 treatment rooms and a juice-bar. An outdoor salt water swimming pool will be available in summer, along with a children’s playground, sports stadium, tennis courts and a boathouse to cater to water sports enthusiasts. Larger groups and events will have more than 13,000 square feet of conference space facilities available, including a Grand Ballroom with flexible partitioning for smaller groups preferring a more intimate space.
