The Gwen, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Chicago, is the latest property to join Starwood's Luxury Collection.
The hotel is a conversion of the former Conrad Chicago, with a design inspired by Gwen Lux, a pioneering Chicago-born sculptor whose work influenced much of the early twentieth century. With a Prohibition Porter mixologist, Artist's Table dining experience and open terraces overlooking the Chicago skyline, the hotel aims for a 1930s vibe -- the building is even an Art Deco landmark.
Shoppers take note: The property is in downtown Chicago, with direct access to the boutiques of the Magnificent Mile.
