California's nightlife was transformed over the weekend with dozens of light installations in Sacramento.
The 2014 Chinese Lights Carnival saw 80 groups of lighters decorate the Cal Expo Sacramento with neon artistry.
Installations included The Great Wall of China and a pair of twin dragons. Famous landmarks from around the world could also be enjoyed by spectators.
The lights festival runs until January 2015.
