Cruise Buzz: Seabourn's Europe Combination Voyages

seabournSeabourn has announced its lineup of Combination Voyages in Europe for this summer. The itineraries will explore the French, Spanish and Italian Rivieras, the Greek Isles and the fjords of Norway. Guests who combine two or more cruises will receive additional savings of up to 15 percent.

Many of Seabourn's Europe cruises are designed as seven-day itineraries, but are combinable for two to four weeks, said John Delaney, Seabourn's senior vice president of global marketing and sales. 

Examples of Seabourn's Combination Voyages in Europe 2016 include:

Seabourn Odyssey is offering 14-day European Combination Cruises in the eastern Mediterranean, with fares starting from $4,999 per person with complimentary veranda upgrades. The Aegean Odyssey sails roundtrip from Athens (Piraeus), Greece to Barcelona, Spain on May 28, June 25, July 23, August 20, September 17 and October 15, 2016, calling at 13 ports and featuring Seabourn's exclusive Evening at Ephesus complimentary shore event. The 14-day Adriatic & Aegean Isles cruises depart Venice to Istanbul on June 18, July 16, August 13, September 10 and October 8, 2016, featuring 13 port visits, the line's Evening at Ephesus event, as well as a planned Marina Day at Primosten, Croatia on the Dalmatian Coast.

In the Western Mediterranean, Seabourn Sojourn is offering a 21-day Mediterranean Nights voyage roundtrip from Monte Carlo, with fares starting at $8,999 per person. Departing August 11 and October 6, 2016, Seabourn Sojourn will visit 18 ports and towns along the Spanish and French Rivieras, the Amalfi Coast in Italy, and islands such as Malta, Corsica and Sardinia. In addition, two Marina Days are planned at Amalfi and San Remo, Italy.

In Northern Europe, Seabourn Quest will offer 21-day Combination Voyages between Stockholm and Copenhagen on May 21, May 28, June 18 and June 25, 2016, with rates starting from $9,999 per person. These voyages will explore the fjords of Norway, and the best of Scandinavia and the Baltic, offering scenic fjord cruising and three days in St. Petersburg. These cruises will also feature the line's "Ventures by Seabourn" excursions, an optional program of Zodiac and kayak excursions led by Seabourn Quest's expedition team of naturalists, science, wildlife and historical experts.

In addition, Seabourn's 2016 Europe season will include stops at a number of ports that are home to UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These itineraries will offer optional World Heritage Tours to visit these historic sites, as well as special Discovery Tours, featuring enhanced content developed in cooperation with UNESCO World Heritage site managers and tour experts.

The Europe season will offer many of the line's signature and unique experiences. In various ports throughout the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, the three ships will feature the "Shopping with the Chef" excursion, where a small group of guests accompany the executive chef to local markets to learn about local produce and see how the freshest ingredients are selected to create exquisite dishes onboard. Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Odyssey will offer the hallmark "Marina Day" experience, featuring complimentary watersports from the ships' fold-out watersports platform at some of the most scenic ports in the Mediterranean. In addition, many of Seabourn Odyssey's itineraries will include Kusadasi, Turkey, featuring Seabourn's signature complimentary Evening at Ephesus, a private classical concert in the ancient ruins under the stars.
