M.C. Athala II
Cruising Adventures are now available through Austin-Lehman. Shown here is the M.C. Athala II.

Adventure travelers with an enthusiasm for yachts should look forward to the new cruise division of Austin-Lehman Adventures. The luxury line is offering four new small-ship adventure cruises in 2012, including two itineraries to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands, where weekly seven-night departures aboard the 16-passenger M.C. Athala II or another 20-passenger luxury yacht visit the islands of Santiago, Bartolome, Isabela and Fernandina.

Guests are able to visit a luxury-tented Galapagos Safari Camp for two days after reaching Santa Cruz Island, which provides access to personalized activities or an infinity pool for a break from the action.

For a larger adventure, guests are welcome aboard the 76-passenger Wilderness Explorer to sail between Sitka and Juneau, exploring Alaska’s Northern Passage and Glacier National Park. Guests are welcome to enjoy kayaking, hiking, skiff exploration, stand-up paddle boarding and whale watching for seven nights.

A four-night Amazon River Cruise is also starting in Peru. Guests are taken aboard the 14-passenger Delfin II for an unending safari that continues both day and night. Visitors can fish for piranha and swim with pink or gray river dolphins while sailing through the largest protected wetland reserve in the world. The Delfin II has an observation deck, entertainment center, library and a hammock sun deck.
