MS Europa Undergoes Redesign During Dry Dock in Hamburg

Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ MS Europa has undergone renovation during its dry dock in Hamburg, furnishing a total of 156 suites with new materials, carpets and furniture. The full list of renovations has 452 points, including new carpeting in the public areas and renovation work in the atrium and pool area.

A total of 650 specialists worked on 5,200 square metres of new carpeting and 1,000 square meters of renewed Bolit flooring, and applied 25 tonnes of paint to the ship. All 152 Veranda Suites on decks 5, 6, 7 and 9 were given a new color scheme. The renovation has also given pool area on decks 8 and 9 new tiles, colors and lights.

Guests onboard can enjoy a late breakfast at Restaurant Dieter Müller. In addition, the menu will include a daily recommendation from the patron. The Europa will depart on a journey to France and Spain with its new look, and calling at ports including Brest, Nantes and Bilbao.
