Oceania Cruises to Launch World Cruise in 2015

Oceania Cruises is the latest luxury cruise line to add the once-in-a-lifetime world voyage to its list of itineraries.

We hear the 684-guest Insignia will set sail on a round-trip voyage from Miami on January 10, 2015, for a 180-day port-intensive world cruise.

The voyage hits five continents, 44 countries and 89 ports of call, will feature 11 overnight calls plus four two-night calls in Cape Town, South Africa; Yangon, Myanmar; Singapore, Singapore; and Shanghai, China.

The journey kicks off with boutique ports in the Caribbean before heading down to South America. The vessel then turns east to Africa before hitting India, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific and Hawaii. It concludes with a voyage through the Panama Canal, returning to Miami on July 8.

Some of the key ports of call include Corinto, Nicaragua; El Guamache, Venezuela, Langkawi, Malaysia; Santa Marta, Colombia; and Xiamen, China.
