Suspense Novelist Mary Higgins Clark Joining Crystal Sailing

Fans of luxury cruising and the writing of Mary Higgins Clark are in for a treat. The noted suspense novelist, with 42 bestselling novels under her belt, will join Crystal Serenity's September 7 Venice to Istanbul sailing to spin tales about her life, career and writing secrets.

Clark didn't achieve commercial success writing books until her late 40s, when her second book, Where are the Children, became a hit. Since then, her books have sold more than 100 million copies in the U.S. alone, with her most recent, I’ll Walk Alone, being published just this past April.

Her presentations aboard Crystal Serenity will center on what it takes to write her books—from conception to publication—with personal true tales behind the fiction and a Q&A session.

The sailing will include overnights in Venice and Istanbul with additional calls during the 12-day Black Sea/Mediterranean voyage including Katakolon, Greece; Navplion, Greece; Constanta, Romania; Odessa and Yalta, Ukraine; and Trabzon, Turkey (maiden call).
