Crystal Cruises Celebrates Its 25th Anniversary

Crystal Cruises is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year with a world cruise and new features. The “Sliver Celebration World Cruise” will take off on January 14, 2015 from Miami and will circumvent the globe in a 108-day round-trip. This will be the 20th world cruise for Crystal Cruises.

The luxury cruise line will also to sail into 224 ports this year in 65 different countries. Twenty-four of the ports will be new destinations this year, including Albany, Australia; Ambodifotatra and Taolanaro, Madagascar; Arrecife, Canary Islands; Richards Bay, South Africa; Sanary-sur-Mer, France; and more.

New amenities and guest options have also been added. Crystal Symphony has had a $20 million dollar renovation. The renovation includes an outdoor fitness garden, fitness center, a new look in the lobby and bar area, a redesigned spa and casino and allergy-safe staterooms.

Trans-Atlantic, South American and Asia itineraries will be offered in 2015, and passengers will be able to attend special parties in honor of the anniversary. There will also be a live performance onboard that pays tribute to Billy Joel and his music. James Fox, from the Broadway hit Movin Out, stars in the production.

If booked by March 2, 2015 the cruise-only fare for five- and nine-day cruises is $1,730 per person.
