Crystal Symphony Calls at Santo Domingo

crystal symphonyCrystal Symphony just celebrated its first call at the Sans Souci cruise terminal in the Port of Santo Domingo the morning of November 20. 

The ship came from Jamaica, and after its Santo Domingo call will continue its voyage in Puerto Rico, Tortola, St. Barthelemy, St. Kitts, Nevis, Turkos and Caicos and Miami.

As part of the traditional welcome to ships visiting the Port of Santo Domingo for the first time, an exchange of plaques took place with the attendance of Jaime Castillo, executive director of the port, Sharon Mei, commercial director, Julia Tábora, communications manager, the Crystal Symphony's captain, and other members of the crew.

Upon arrival passengers enjoyed activities and tastings organized by the Port of Santo Domingo for the occasion, such as diving sessions, a Colonial City Tour, a Dominican Fest and Feast Tour and a social “You Care. We Care” tour, developed by the teachers and students of the Polytechnic Institute Pilar Constanzo.
