Daniela Trovato, who started at the Four Seasons Hotel Milano nine years ago in a new sales entry-level position, has been promoted to Senior Director of Marketing, Italy, providing leadership over-sight of the Four Seasons Hotel Milano and Florence.
David Crowl, vice president sales and marketing, EMEA at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, noted Trovato's "commitment to listen carefully, learn, work hard and gain the confidence and experience necessary to secure a senior Sales and Marketing leadership position in Italy for the company." During Trovato’s three-year tenure in Milano, she was promoted into various levels of sales management.
"When it became known that a second Italian Hotel was being developed in Firenze, Daniela requested the desire to transfer and learn from a pre-opening experience, where she was subsequently promoted to lead the sales effort as the Director of Sales," Crowl recalled. "In 2011, Daniela was promoted to Director of Marketing, refining the catering, reservations, revenue management as well as marketing communications functions within a hotel."
In her new role, Trovato will be responsible for "creating meaningful efficiencies and synergies" within Four Seasons' current and future portfolio of Italian product, as well as improving performance within Sales and Marketing.
