Set to reopen and expand in May 2013, Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel has announced its summer 2013 DJ line-up.
The property owned by Palladium Hotel Group is considered as the island’s premier hotel and music venue with its “combination of sun and scintillating nightlife”. This summer, the property will unveil its property expansion, The Ushuaïa Tower. Specifically in celebration of the opening, Ushuaïa has confirmed that its line-up for its main stage at The Ushuaïa Club will include David Guetta and Avicii as DJs for the 2013 summer season.
The Ushuaïa Tower, an eight-story property, was developed in response to the popularity of the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel and demand for luxury accommodation. The Ushuaïa Tower’s 181 rooms is expected to complement the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel’s existing 236 rooms.
The rooms and suites are decorated with a range of natural materials mixed with high-tech functionality. All of the new suites have an exterior terrace, Jacuzzi and a LED system, enabling guests to change the room lighting according to their mood, as well as plug-in aromatherapy.
The Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel opened in 2011. Performers have graced the Ushuaia stage, including FatBoy Slim, Swedish House Mafia and Usher. David Guetta will be returning with his F*** me I’m Famous by David and Cathy Guetta residency for the second consecutive year, kicking off his weekly sets on July 1 for nine weeks. Meanwhile, Swedish DJ Avicii will be taking up residency for the second time at Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel every Sunday from June 30 through September 1.
