Destination Kohler to Host Balvenie Scotch Weekend

The American Resort at Destination Kohler

Scotch aficionados will have the chance to congregate for the exclusive opportunity to savor a dram of The Balvenie Fifty Single Malt Scotch at Destination Kohler during the "Sip. Swing. Smoke. Weekend," May 15-17.

The weekend will include the opportunity to sip a variety of high-end Balvenie Scotch, swing golf clubs at Whistling Straits and smoke Gurkha Cigars al fresco with accommodations at The American Club Resort Hotel. The celebration will culminate with a scotch pairings dinner at the Immigrant Restaurant with pours of the recently released The Balvenie Fifty Scotch.

Destination Kohler is one of four locations in the United States to receive an allotment of The Balvenie Fifty Scotch. In November 2014 The Balvenie Distillery in Banffshire, Scotland, released 131 bottles worldwide, distributing only 15 bottles to the United States. The "Sip. Swing. Smoke. Weekend" is centered on the opening of Bottle No. 53.

The "Sip. Swing. Smoke." package includes accommodations for two nights at The American Club Resort Hotel and the following events for a maximum of 12 guests: "The Balvenie Fifty Scotch Dinner," "Golf at Whistling Straits" and "Gurkha Cigar & Scotch Reception." The package is priced at $4,889 per person.

Scotch enthusiasts may elect to enjoy the weekend with the "Little Sip Package" that includes accommodations for two nights at The American Club Resort Hotel, the "Gurkha Cigar & Scotch Reception" and golf at Whistling Straits with package prices starting at $895 per person. Package excludes "The Balvenie Fifty Scotch Dinner."
