A $2 Million Meal at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

Marina Bay Sands has already made headlines for its infinity pool and SkyPark, perched 55 storeys above the ground with 360 degree views of Singapore. Now the luxury hotel is in the spotlight once again with an over-the-top dining experience at CÉ LA VI Club Lounge. Created in partnership with Russian diamond company World of Diamonds, the exclusive, eight-hour experience is billed as “the world’s most expensive dining experience.” Price tag? $2 million.

What’s included? A 45-minute helicopter ride over the bustling metropolis, a luxury cruise, and a chauffeured Rolls-Royce ride to the lounge where the couple get 10,000 roses and an 18-course meal, including oysters and Almas caviar paired with half-century-old wines. Diners are presented with diamond chopsticks engraved with their names, and—to cap off an epic meal—a 2.08 carat blue diamond ring with a rose-gold plated platinum band.

(The World of Diamonds, which is one of the world’s largest privately held diamond corporations, named it the “Jane Seymour” in homage to the famous actress.)
