We're terribly excited about the new Raffles Hotel arriving in Istanbul this year, and now we can raise a glass in its honor with a new drink especially created by mixologist Randolph Velasco at the Long Bar at the Raffles Hotel, Singapore. (This popular watering hole is the birthplace of the Singapore Sling.)
In fact, the talented barman has devised an entire collection of cocktails inspired by the eight different Raffles Hotels locations around the world. The “Raffles Seychelles” is emerald green, of course, to reflect the stunning sea views at the tropical resort; while the Raffles Cambodia incorporates the Kingdom's national fruit, the five finger banana, with local flavors like kaffir and green pandan leaves.
