The designer duo sisters behind Anndra Neen (Phoebe and Annette Stephens) have been getting lots of press love lately. Ever since they snagged the coveted Dorchester Collection 2011 Fashion Prize last October, they’ve garnered acclaim in The New York Times, Vogue.com, the British Vogue 2012 Hot List. Now Anndra Neen will have the opportunity to showcase their Autumn/Winter 2012 jewelry and accessories collection at the Hôtel Plaza Athénée on March 5-6, 2012 during Paris Fashion Week. The Dorchester Collection will be kicking off the 2012 Fashion Prize by giving props to the 2011 winner. In addition to the cash prize of US $40,000, Anndra Neen also won this rare opportunity to exhibit their collection at the legendary palace hotel on Avenue Montaigne (Carrie Bradshaw’s digs in Paris).
Here are the details on the Dorchester Collection’s 2012 Fashion Prize: A panel of expert judges will bestow €30,000 to a gifted designer of ready-to-wear or premium accessories to help establish their brand. Entries for the 2012 Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize must be based in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg or Switzerland; have an established design business; and have operated their brand for a minimum of two years. Application details will be available for download on the Dorchester Collection website (www.dorchestercollection.com) from April 2, 2012 and registration will be open until May 31, 2012.
