Audi Opens Exclusive Bar in St Moritz (VIDEO)

The snow’s a-falling in the Swiss Alps, and if you’re heading to the glam winter ski resort of St. Moritz, there’s a swanky new bar worth checking out. Audi-- a sponsor of the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships-- commissioned the Munich-based firm Schmidhuber to design the Audi Quattro Bar as an alpine chalet made of wood, stone and steel. Perched high above the ski resort (over 8,100 feet in altitude), the bar has extraordinary vistas of the peaks and pistes in the Corviglia Snow Park.

Promoting the Audi Quattro all-wheel drive system (which is designed to handle winter’s adverse weather conditions), the bar is located directly off the slopes, for ski-in, ski-out access. There’s a fireplace where you can warm up with a hot drink or a glass of Champagne, and the outdoor deck has gorgeous views. Michelin-starred chef Reto Mathis has devised the menu. The Audi Quattro Bar will also be open in the summer months. The capacity is 90 guests. Buzz: Audi has put out a cool video showing off the project:
