Australian Festival Celebrates Surfing

From February 11-26, music, art, writing, film and photography about surfing will be on display across the beaches and venues of Australia's Southern Gold Coast as part of the Bleach Surfing the Fringe Festival.

The festival will bypass traditional gallery settings in favor of a series of beachside and casual indoor pop-up events scattered across the coast, including art housed in shipping containers, mobile music truck concerts, children’s workshops, a street festival, outdoor light shows and cinematic experiences.

Bleach will showcase the work of more than 80 local and international artists and musicians, including celebrated designer, artist and photographer Claudio Kirac, author Tim Baker, photographers Ted Grambeau, Shelli Bankier, Peter Joli Wilson, Trent Mitchell and Sean Scott.
