There are fewer skylines more impressive than the view of the Bund. Banyan Tree Shanghai on the Bund is taking its sought-after location and using it to its advantage with the debut of the new rooftop bar TOPS. With views stretching across the Huangpu River, TOPS brings a laid-back, chic atmosphere to the Bund.

We hear the bar has DJs spinning to complement the cocktails and tapas served up by mixologists and chefs. (Try the Bloody Mary oysters or foie gras mini burgers.)

Good to know: There are entrance fees on Tuesdays and Sundays, including two drinks and one drink on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Wednesdays ladies can enjoy free drinks between 7 to 9 with the entrance fee.
