Shoppers at Saks Fifth Avenue can now enjoy BREATHE Salt Rooms powered by Salt Chamber pop-up booths. Shoppers at the high-end store’s flagship location in New York City will be given a chance to experience dry salt booths, as well as the health and wellness benefits they offer.
Dry Salt Therapy is designed to help with a multitude of repertory and skin conditions, according to the company. This list includes allergies, asthma, bronchitis, sinus infections, eczema, psoriasis, and colds. It also says that the therapy is an effective natural alternative to provide overall wellness.
BREATHE’S Saks Fifth Avenue Wellery Pop-Up will have five salt booths complete with SALT Chamber’s Multi SALT FX Halogenerators. The halogenerator, the machine the grinds the salt, can be programmed specifically for the individual’s preferences, unlike communal Salt Rooms, which are often programmed to a general setting. Each session lasts as little as ten minutes, and allows consumers to breathe in medical-grade salt that is dispersed in micronized salt particles throughout the booth. The brand also has salt rooms across New York City and Westchester.
In addition to BREATHE’S Salt Booths, the Pop-Up will also feature Get Salted’s line of natural, hand crafted Himalayan salt products for spa, beauty and home. The line includes bath bombs, soap bars, bath salts, and body bars.
The Saks Wellery will have 20 different vendors of boutique fitness classes, athleisure gear for men and women, beauty products, exercise equipment, manicures, and meditation. The Wellery will be up until October 30. It is located on 611 5th Avenue on the second level.
