September is nipping at our heels, but there's still plenty of time to enjoy a good pool scene. We hear The Beverly Hills Hotel (a posh playground for Hollywood elite), has recently completed a restoration of its Cabana Cafe and poolside cabanas. A new Pool Terrace has also been added, allowing VIPs to host private parties.
The Cabana Cafe's retro style is the backdrop for the dining scene. The restaurant now has a new show kitchen, pizza oven, separate bar area and overhead trellis. Tip: Order the Sunset Club Sandwich, the Grilled Marinated Prawn Salad or the Pineapple Express Wood-Fired Pizza. To come: Dinner service will begin in the fall!
As for those cabanas…11 newly refreshed cabanas now have private phones, 46-inch flat screen TVs, ceiling fans and more.
