Broadway Buzz: Raven-Symone to Star in Broadway's Sister Act

More celebs are heading to Broadway this season: Deadline.com is reporting that Raven-Symoné, famous for starring in  The Cosby Show and the Disney Channel's That's So Raven will take over for the Tony- and Olivier-nominated Patina Miller in Broadway's Sister Act, based on the popular movie. She will reportedly begin rehearsals at the end of February, and will debut at the end of March for a six-month run in the show.

Patina Miller originated the lead role of Deloris both in the West End and Broadway productions of Sister Act, making her Broadway debut. She earned a Theatre World Award for her performance.
