Beautiful time to welcome spring in Vienna, and we can’t think of a better spot than the Atmosphere Bar atop the Ritz Carlton which just reopened for the season. Located on the eighth floor, the bar offers spectacular views of the city and the lush greenery of neighboring Stadpark. The bar was buzzing when we were there last week, with elegant Viennese locals sipping champagne and nibbling Käsekrainers, delicious mini-pork sausages filled with cheese that are special to the region. This June kicks-off a special “Gentleman’s Tea” with a range of tea inspired cocktails such as The Green Lantern a mix of green tea and cucumber infused Kettle One, Elderflower and tonic served with an ice stick made of green tea or the Earl Grey Mule made with Earl Grey infused Kettle One, lime, homemade bitters and ginger beer. The iced cocktails are served chilled in a retro copper tea pot. This summer is definitely a good time for “tea” in Vienna.
