Star shoemaker Christian Louboutin—whose signature red-soled stilettos are worn by the beau monde of the fashion world—is making waves (again!) in Paris. What’s new for the “Godfather of Sole”? Louboutin recently opened a beautiful boutique in the 1st arrondissement of Paris devoted solely to nail polish.

Christian Louboutin Beauté debuted in 2012 with a collection of nail polish sold in striking flacons that are reminiscent of stilettos with their tall, pointed glass tops. The brand's new shop was creatively designed by decorator Pierre Yovanovitch to resemble the interior of the nail polish bottle. Under a skylight ceiling, the boutique is bathed in a spectrum of light in the same colors as the 34 hues of nail polish available.

Priced at 45 euros, each flacon is showcased in a niche like precious jewelry or an objet d’art. The store is located at 8 Galerie Véro-Dodat, one of the city’s signature covered passageways dating from the 19th century. This particular shopping arcade is not far from the Louvre.
