One of the merriest places to be in Europe during the holiday season is Brussels. Starting November 28, 2014, and running until January 4, 2015, the “Winter Wonders” event features a Christmas market, a Ferris wheel, an ice-skating rink, and a giant Christmas tree and light show on the historic Grand Place. If you’re looking for accommodations, one of our favorite hotels- the Amigo, A Rocco Forte Hotel- will be getting dolled up for the holidays with decorations by Belgian designer Diane Von Furstenberg.

“Diane is really the best of the Belgian designers and her brand DVF has become a sensation all over the world,” Olga Polizzi, director of design for Rocco Forte Hotels, told us. “At Hotel Amigo, our hotel in Brussels, we are lucky enough to have partnered with her for Christmas. She is personally designing all of our lobby decorations as well as giving our suite guests a copy of her book and a clutch bag.”
